Rustic Stressed Plank Floors

These floors are fabulous. Rustic planks – beautiful and tough enough for commercial use.

Dining Room Tiffany Lamps

Here is a shot that shows the front wall of the dining room with the booths and Tiffany Lights.

Dining Room Tables

Some people prefer tables and for large groups this is one of the areas where 2, 3, or 4 tables can be joined.

Dining Room Window Booths

These Dining Room Window Booths are my favorite places to sit. Big round windows that afford privacy… they are mirrored glass I think.

Counter and Pie Case

This is the counter in front of the pie case. I used to eat breakfast here when I was “on the job” with Myron Quigley in the old days. Myron has the best cook in Bergen County at home (Hi Mrs. Quigley !!) but we used to start the work day with a cup of coffee and he had some toast… I had eggs over with hash browns with extra fried onions.

The Original Cow

This artwork was created by one of the original owners. In the US Navy Submarine Service we had what we called “Plastic Cow” which meant dehydrated milk. This is the “Real Cow” that sits on top of the “Steel Cow”. I’ll have to ask Harry what the name of the artist is… I forgot her name but she was from the owners family and she worked long hours as a hostess mostly.

The Counter

The Counter… classic. In the old days this could be filled at 7:00 AM with builders having breakfast while smoking and drinking coffee. At lunch time filled with suits and at dinner lots of people who just got off work. Night time saw a fair share of truckers inthe old days when they could park right on Route 17 without getting a ticket.

The Runway

Runway for Waiters and Waitresses.

Main Room Looking at the Counter

In the main room this time looking to the counter.

Main Room Front Aisle

Main Room again this time looking down the main aisle.
